What is the Elmira Vintage Guitar Show?

The Elmira Vintage Guitar show began with the goal of creating a community of music enthusiasts by providing a venue to trade, sell, or show off equipment or products. The first show was in 2009 at the Elmira Lions Hall. We  soon outgrew this space and moved to a much larger hockey rink at the Woolwich Memorial  Centre. Over the past decade we have hosted thousands of attendees and hundreds of Exhibitors, many  becoming repeat customers.

How is the Elmira Virtual Guitar Show different from the Elmira Vintage Guitar Show?

The Virtual guitar show is brought to you by the same people as the vintage guitar show but this time it’s all online. We are providing the same experience as past shows using an online events hosting platform called Hopin. Attendees can view exhibitor booths and interact face to face via video chat.

How Much does it cost?

What requirements do you have for someone to become an exhibitors?

We want this show to be appealing to music enthusiasts so we expect exhibitors to offer a product or services relating to music, musical instruments, or the music industry in general.

I’m not “techy” how do I learn how to host an exhibitor booth?

We will host test runs of the show on Tuesday in October. These will look and feel exactly like the real show but will only be  available to exhibitors.  Exhibitors will get the chance to get comfortable with the platform and work out any technical requirements. We have a dedicated support person available to directly help you with any technical issues.

What are the technical requirements?

  • Minimum Internet speed of 5mbps download and 2 mbps upload. 30mbps download and 10 mbps upload preferred and will provide best quality.
  • Chrome or Firefox browser only. Safari and IE or not supported as they do not support live video events.
  • Mobile devices have been shown to work although they are not recommended.
  • PC Users - Windows 10 is preferred.  Windows 7 is not fully functional.
  • Mac Users - Ensure your OS is up to date.

How do I become an Attendee?

Attendee tickets will be available soon.  If you’re keen, feel free to create an account at hopin. This will be required for all attendees and exhibitors.
